NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Borough Council of the Borough of Conshohocken will consider the adoption of the following ordinance at its meeting on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 7:00 PM, in Borough Hall, located at 400 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
In accordance with the requirements of the Borough Code, the following is a summary of the proposed ordinance:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF CONSHOHOCKEN, MONTGOMERY COUNTY, COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING CHAPTER 15 VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC OF THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF CONSHOHOCKEN TO ESTABLISH A CERTAIN STOP INTERSECTION, TO ESTABLISH A NO PARKING AREA, AND TO ESTABLISH A HANDICAP PARKING ONLY AREA IN THE BOROUGH; REPEALING PRIOR INCONSISTENT ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND CONTAINING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
The ordinance creates a new stop intersection on West First Avenue at Maple Street in the easterly direction. The ordinance creates a new no parking area on the east side of Robinson Alley, between West First Avenue and West Hector Street. The ordinance creates a new handicap parking only area on the north side of East Sixth Avenue in front of 10 East Sixth Avenue. The ordinance repeals prior inconsistent ordinances and parts of ordinances, provides a savings clause, and sets an effective date.
