Conshohocken Borough, located at 400 Fayette Street, Suite 200, Conshohocken, PA 19428, will receive sealed bids online for 2023 CDBG Curb Ramp Installation. Sealed bids may be submitted and updated online via the PennBid™ website until 10:00 A.M. prevailing time on March 11, 2025, at which time the bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud at the Borough Administration Building at 400 Fayette Street, Suite 200, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Results will also be opened and posted online via the PennBid™ website.                                                                                                                 

The Work to be completed under this contract includes the installation of concrete curb ramps at eight (8) locations in the Borough, as shown in the Drawings in accordance with the current ADA/PennDOT regulations, hot thermoplastic crosswalk installation, and related mobilization, maintenance and protection of traffic, erosion and sediment control, grading, seeding, and restoration. All material, labor, and equipment necessary shall be in accordance with PennDOT Publication 408, PennDOT Publication 72 RC-64 and RC-67, and Borough Standards.

This Project is financed by a grant from the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development, under the administration of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Community and Economic Development. This project is subject to the prevailing Davis-Bacon minimum wage rates issued by the applicable Executive Order and Department of Labor for work valued at over $2,000. 

All bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the Bid Opening or for such period of time that Bidder may agree to in writing upon request. Bids may be withdrawn within two (2) business days after the opening of Bids only by the withdrawing Bidder's strict compliance with 73 P.S. §1602 and any subsequent amendments. 

Conshohocken Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to waive any informality in the bids.

The project will be managed by Conshohocken Borough.
