The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that resurfacing is planned next week on East Elm Street from Fayette Street to Apple Street and East Hector Street from Apple Street to Barren Hill Road on Monday, August 5, through Friday, August 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
 
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.
