The Borough of Conshohocken, located at 400 Fayette Street, Suite 200, Conshohocken, PA 19428, is seeking proposals from qualified and licensed contractors to provide services that include, but are not limited to, the construction of a storage facility on the grounds of the Community Center at the Fel, 515 Harry Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
RFP for Community Center at the Fel Storage Facility
Scope of Services sought may include but are not limited to the following at the Community Center at the Fel. The bidder will be required to provide all necessary materials and should include the cost of those materials in its bid:
- Design and construct a 40’x15’ storage structure at a designated location outside of the Community Center at the Fel’s gymnasium.
- Contractor to provide sealed drawings include all necessary trades building, mechanical, electrical, etc.
- Apply for building, electrical, and use of occupancy permits needed to complete the project.
- Notify PA one call prior to excavation.
- Install security fence during and after construction.
- Excavation will be provided by the Conshohocken Borough Public Services Department, coordinated through the Public Works Director.
- Construction of the facility will consist of concrete footings to framed walls and roof.
- Building exterior will have a brick veneer to match the front of the gymnasium.
- Electrical work to be provided and will consist of interior receptacles where needed along with 4-6 interior ceiling LED lights, exterior spot light, and one exterior receptacle.
- Sprinkler system to be installed by borough vendor.
- The final exterior scope of work, i.e., sidewalk, etc., will be provided by the Public Services Department.
