On Friday, September 10, 2021 the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced that federal disaster assistance has been made available to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to supplement commonwealth and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by Hurricane Ida from August 31, 2021 to September 5, 2021.

Financial assistance is available for affected individuals in Montgomery County, as well as Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Philadelphia, and York counties.

Individuals can register for assistance in one of three ways:

  • Online at disasterassistance.gov
  • Over the phone at 1-800-621-3362
  • In person at a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) - location and other details to be announced soon.
